I am writing this letter to express my appreciation for the advice and assistance that you and The Burke Company have given us. Recently, we purchased a home and solicited bids from several contractors. While we had worked with your company on previous remodels and were always happy with the professional work that was done, this time we selected another general contractor. As my dad used to say (when I was "in the doghouse"), this should be a lesson learned, and it has been.

The contractor we selected who promised that he could save us a few dollars, turned out to be our worst nightmare- costing us time and lots of MONEY! As a result, we ended up re-doing most of the plumbing and tile work, and some of the carpentry work. We were in several quandries after the remodeling was "completed" and our contractor was enjoying his "earnings" vacationing in Spain. We had no one to turn for advice...until we remembered you. "The most satisfying aspect of the project was having The Burke Company available on demand to answer questions and solve problems. It was an interactive process - we spoke 2 or 4 times a week through the course of project.

When there were surprises, there was a timely resolution… because of the level of interaction between The Burke Company and us.

They provide great service. The best example was when, without making a big deal or anything, they had a guy replace a couple of shingles on the roof. This was outside the contract, of course. They also did a demolition on a limestone wall, which was not in the contract. I was going to do it myself, but they said they could do it, no problem.
